The YWCA is the oldest and largest multicultural women’s organization in the world, with more than 25 million members in 122 countries, including 2 million members in 300 local Associations in the United States. Across continents and cultures, we are united by our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.

At the heart of this movement are the local Associations that flourish in rural, urban and suburban communities from coast to coast. The services they provide range from childcare, job training and affordable, skill-building classes, to violence prevention, youth programming and economic empowerment initiatives. YWCA staff, volunteers and supporters are your neighbors, family members, co-workers and friends.

Each year, the YWCA of Great Falls is responsible for providing low-cost or free classes, clothing and skills development workshops and free networks of support for victims of abuse who seek to move forward with their lives. Together with the Mercy Home, our affiliated shelter for abused women, we are the voice at the other end of the crisis line and the arms that welcome women who have nowhere else to turn, as we have done for nearly a century.
